Terms of service.

These terms are based on a standard SaaS template and are not a substitute for legal advice. We are working with counsel to formalize these for production use. For specific legal questions, contact legal@coggo.ai.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Coggo AI ("Service," "Coggo," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service description
Coggo provides an AI-powered scribe for veterinarians. The Service generates structured notes, transcripts, and related documents from audio recordings provided by you. The Service is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. You remain the clinical decision-maker for every patient.
3. Account registration
You must register an account to use most features. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. You can cancel anytime. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service; (c) interfere with the operation of the Service; (d) use the Service to generate content that violates the rights of others; (e) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, design, and content provided by us, is owned by Coggo AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the audio recordings, transcripts, and notes you create using the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Content solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Privacy and data
Our handling of Customer Content is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. See Security for technical details.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and technical issues may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses caused by Service interruption.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling in the billing settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will delete or anonymize your Customer Content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
10. Disclaimers and limitations
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy of generated notes. You must review and verify every note before relying on it for clinical care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Coggo AI harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Coggo AI is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction or through binding arbitration where required.
13. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
